Some people use the VLC player as a secondly player as it plays most files. It is very rare that it gets a codecs problem. So you can take a link from where the file is located and then enter the URL into the player manually.

  1. Firstly, find the “Media” tab in the consul and click on it. Likewise, choose “Open Multiple Files.”
  2. You will now see a window pop up called the “Open Media.” You will need to click the big “Add…” button at this point.
  3. Now, find the video file and its location where you want to add the extra audio. Click to open it.
  4. Now back in the “Open Media” window, look for a checkbox “Show more options.” Click that to see more choices.
  5. Okay, find the checkbox that says “Play another media synchronously.” Make sure to check that box.
  6. Lastly you will need to click the “Browse” button to find and select the audio file you want to add.
  7. In the new “Open Media” window that popped up, click the “Add…” button.
  8. Now, find the audio file you want to play alongside the video. This can even be another video file as long as it has the audio you need! Open the audio file you found.
  9. Once you’ve chosen the audio, click “Select” to close this second “Open Media” window.
  10. Finally, click “Play” to start the video. The first “Open Media” window will also close, and you’ll hear the audio playing over the video!
