VLC media player display subtitles
VLC media player can display subtitles for a variety of different file formats. Here are the steps to enable subtitles in VLC:
- Open the video file in VLC media player.
- Click on the “Subtitles” button in the toolbar, or go to “Video” > “Subtitles Track” in the menu.
- Click on the “Open File” option and browse for the subtitle file.
- Select the subtitle file and click “Open”.
- The subtitles should now be displayed in the video.
If the subtitles and video are in the same file, VLC should automatically detect the subtitles and display them. If not, you can also add the subtitle file manually by selecting the option “Subtitle Track” > “Add Subtitle File” and selecting the file.
You can also adjust the appearance of subtitles by going to “Tools” > “Preferences” > “Subtitles & OSD” and change the font, size, and color of the subtitles.
It’s also worth noting that if the subtitles are in a different format than what VLC supports, you can try converting the subtitles file to a different format using a subtitle converter tool.
