How to install the Media Player Classic + External LAV Filters. Here I am going to explain how to install the LAV Filters which the Media Player Classic. We are going to see how to use the LAV Filters with the MPC player as an external filter. This is easy to understand. So,ly follow the instructions below.
Media Player Classic + External LAV Filters
Firstly you will need to open the Media Classic Player
Click on the View on the top bar of the player.
Then scroll to the bottom and Click on Options
Click on External Filters
This will bring up the filter options
Click on Add Filter
Click on LAV Audio Decoder and ensure that you click on Prefer
Additionally Click on LAV Splitter and ensure that you click on Prefer
Likewise Click on LAV Splitter Source and ensure that you click on Prefer
Click on LAV Video Decoder o ensure that you click on Prefer
Each LAV has to be done one at a time. Don’t forget to Click on Apply after you load each filter.
Now Click on Internal Filters
Right Click and then Click on Disable all Filters
Right Click and then Click on Disable all Filters
Click on Apply and close the Media Player
Go to Windows and look for LAV Filters. Click on the drop down menu
The new menu looks like the one below.
Click on the Drop Down Menu.
Click on DAVX2 and then Click on Apply
The new menu looks like the one below.
Click on the Drop Down Menu.
Click on D3D11 and then Click on Apply
